General Clinics Questions

Do you offer virtual care?

Yes. We can evaluate and treat patients anywhere in Colorado via telehealth.

If you are not local to Greeley, we can send your lab order to one of our partner labs so you can complete all required testing in your area. You do not have to come into the clinic to start care.

Where are you located?

Address: 3 locations in Northern Colorado

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes — for hormones, thyroid, TRT, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss.

New Patient Process

What happens during the first visit?

Your startup visit includes:

  • Full review of symptoms and health history
  • Vitals, intake, and clinical assessment
  • Discussion of goals and concerns
  • Comprehensive lab panel (drawn on-site or at a partner lab)

How long does the first visit take?

  • Startup + labs: ~40 minutes
  • Follow-up lab review: 45–60 minutes depending on complexity

What labs do you run?

A complete hormone + metabolic panel, including:

  • Testosterone and free testosterone (via SHBG + albumin)
  • Progesterone
  • DHEA
  • SHBG
  • Free T3 / Free T4
  • TSH
  • Thyroid antibody screen (TPO/TG when indicated)
  • CBC
  • CMP
  • Lipids/cholesterol

Important notes:

  • We do NOT run estradiol for men (intentionally, based on clinical evidence).
  • We do not routinely run A1C or fasting insulin unless we are doing a specific prediabetes panel.
  • We can run anemia panels (common for women) on request.

We are a full-service lab — any lab test can be ordered when clinically appropriate.

Hormone Optimization (Men & Women)

What symptoms can hormone optimization help with?

Low energy, weight gain, poor sleep, low libido, mood swings, brain fog, hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, and reduced muscle mass.

What hormones do you optimize?

Testosterone, progesterone, estrogen (bioidentical), thyroid hormones, and DHEA when indicated.

How long until I feel better?

Most patients feel improvements in 4–6 weeks, with full optimization in 3–6 months.

Men’s Testosterone Therapy (TRT)

What TRT methods do you offer?

  • Injectable testosterone (preferred for stability and precision)
  • Creams
  • Pellet therapy
We generally do not recommend gels due to inconsistent absorption and efficacy.

Does TRT shut down natural testosterone?

TRT suppresses natural production.
For men concerned about fertility, we support testicular function using HCG when appropriate.
(HCG is an LH analog — we do not prescribe LH or FSH.)

Will TRT make me infertile?

It can suppress sperm production. With proper fertility-support protocols (e.g., HCG), many men maintain or restore fertility.

Men’s Testosterone Therapy (TRT)

Can I be in perimenopause even with normal cycles?

Yes. Progesterone often declines years before cycles change.

Do labs always show what’s happening?

Not always — symptoms often tell the clearer story. Labs help guide treatment but don’t override clinical experience.

Do you prescribe bioidentical hormones?

Yes — bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone for women when clinically appropriate.

Thyroid Optimization

Why do so many people get misdiagnosed?

Most providers only check TSH. Many symptomatic patients have normal TSH but low free hormones.

Do you treat Hashimoto’s?

Yes — we evaluate thyroid antibodies when indicated and treat based on comprehensive clinical patterns.

What thyroid medications do you use?

  • Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT) — preferred for most

T4/T3 combinations when appropriate

Medical Weight Loss (SEMAGLUTIDE + TIRZEPATIDE)

What’s included in your medical weight loss programs?

  • GLP-1 medication (semaglutide or tirzepatide)
  • All dosing levels included (no price changes at higher doses)
  • Ongoing provider support
  • Weekly accountability
  • Nutrition guidance
  • Emotional management + relationship with food work
    — core part of our long-term success model

Do you require labs for weight loss patients?

No. Labs are not required to begin GLP-1 medical weight loss programs.

How much weight will I lose?

Most patients lose 1–3 lbs per week, but results depend on consistency, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Do you use safe pharmacies?

Yes — only licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies.
No overseas or research chemical sources.

Peptide therapy

Do you require labs for peptides?

Typically no — unless your provider believes they’re necessary based on your symptoms.

What can peptides help with?

Tissue repair, recovery, libido, sleep, metabolism, and more depending on the specific peptide.

Medical Weight Loss (SEMAGLUTIDE + TIRZEPATIDE)

What’s included in hormone optimization memberships?

  • All hormone medications
  • Monitoring labs
  • Follow-up visits
  • Dose adjustments
  • Ongoing provider support

Are labs included in weight loss memberships?

No. Baseline labs are not required for weight loss programs.

Is there a contract?

No — all memberships are month-to-month.

Do you offer discounts for longer-term commitments?

Yes — patients who prefer to commit to longer periods can receive discounted rates.

Safety, monitoring & medication quality

How often do I need labs?

Hormone Patients:

  • First follow-up labs: 4–8 weeks after starting
  • Subsequent labs: whenever dose adjustments require it
  • Optimization labs: periodic, based on clinical need
(We do not follow a rigid 3–6 month formula.)

Weight Loss Patients:

  • Labs not required to begin
  • Additional labs ordered only if clinically indicated

Peptide Patients:

  • Labs generally not required

Can I use labs from another clinic?

Yes — as long as:

  1. They are recent

  2. They are complete

A Spark provider reviews and approves them before your appointment

Appointments, communication & support

How quickly can I start treatment?

Often within 3–5 days once lab results are reviewed.

Do you allow refills without appointments?

No — hormone and GLP-1 therapies require proper monitoring for safety and effectiveness.

How do I reach the clinic?

Phone or patient portal messaging.
